Riches and Watts Drawing
I have prepared a CAD drawing of the 2 nhp engine as re constructed and most of its component parts, if you would like to build a model why not download it, it is not dimensioned but is to scale. A 1 nhp engine drawing will follow at some point in the future - part of the restoration project is to draw it up.
This (very) rough picture gives an idea of what it looks like, these zipped files contain the full 216KB Autocad Release 12 .dwg or a 138 KB .dxf file which will loose embedded text and dimensioning but on a freeware / shareware cad program (try Deltacad, Turbocad or similar) should print / plot out nicely.
For those of you who do not have the equipment or ability to make a metal engine (or do but want a different challenge), have a look at the superb working model, based on this drawing, that Ed Bertschy has achieved using paper - I think the nameplate proudly proclaiming 'Bertschy, Paper Engineering' says more than I can about it - despite Ed's modesty !
